Bede reflects on J-Bay as Teahupoo kicks into gear |
| 30 August, 2010 : - - Teahupoo is finally underway and it's going to be a key event for everybody in the top 45, not just the guys fighting to escape the cut-off after this event. I'm safe but I want to back up my semi-final finish at J-Bay in South Africa... |

Bede Blogs on surfing at J-Bay & being back in OZ |
| 15 July, 2010 : - - It’s so good to be J-Bay with a nice clean new swell coming through. It’s one of the great feelings in surfing! It feels like forever since Brazil and the last contest. But it has also been great to have a 10-week break to recharge the batteries and plan and plot some future strategy, starting with J-Bay.

Short, fat & fun: Bede blogs on new McKewen shapes |
| 8 February, 2010 : - - Ever since Simon Anderson’s breakthrough with the thruster, surfers on the pro tour have looked for any design edge they can get. Board design is a constant evolution and if there’s any way for those of us on the Pro Tour to improve our performance, we’ll go looking for it. My break since Hawaii has revolved around my fitness regime and some board experimentation. |

Bede blogs: Another year down but what a way to end it |
| 29 December, 2009 : - - I’m back home on the Gold Coast now and we’re locked into that October to early January pattern where the surf is the pits. But I’m coping cos one of the best Hawaiian winters I’ve ever had is still fresh in my memory banks.

Portugal, perfect 10s and breaking boards: Bede blogs |
| 16 November, 2009 : - - I’m on my way to Hawaii, we’ve got an amazing world title showdown about to unfold in front of us at Pipe and my mind is just full of all of those amazing waves we had last North Shore winter. My mood has obviously been helped along by my recent run of results which has got me back into a position to achieve my goal for this year – finishing inside the Top 5.

As title race tightens up, Bede checks in from Mundaka |
| 7 October, 2009 : - - It’s been a hectic few weeks since the ASP men’s tour resumed and we’re right in the thick of the action now in Spain. Trestles and the first of the European events in France came right on the top of each other after the long six-week break since J-Bay. |

Bede blogs on epic JBay, new boards & painmaster Elko |
| 19 August, 2009 : - - Hey everybody. It’s interesting times in pro surfing right now so I thought I would clock in. J-Bay turned it on at the last contest on the tour. It was absolutely pumping. The key swell only lasted three days but it was epic. There was a lot of sand on the rocks so it was barrelling more then normally it does there. |

Bede blogs on South America & defending his title there |
| 29 June, 2009 : - - Hey everybody, this is Bede dialling in from South America. I’ve been here in Brazil for a few days now. It’s a real mission for we Australians to get here flight-wise and I wanted to be as adjusted as possible ahead of defending my title here.
To a large degree, this year’s Hang Loose Pro is almost a completely different event to the one I won here last season. This year’s event is much earlier in the season, and it’s the middle of winter here now so the water is colder than when we’ve been here in the past. |

Bede reflects on Bells Beach, eyes landing at Teahupoo |
| 8 May, 2009 : - - I’m writing this blog in the plane on the way up to Tahiti and right now I’m getting twitchy in my seat. We’ve heard the waves for the trials at Teahupoo have been fun and I’m frothing at the chance to match wits and nerve against that amazing
reef break.

| 10 April, 2009 : - - Hey everybody. Great to be back blogging in 2009...sorry, for the slow start to the year. The first CT event of the year has come and gone and here I am down at Bells for the Rip Curl Easter Pro waiting for my second round match-up with Adam Robertson and I'm only firing up my first blog.

'I'll Take That!' - Bede Durbidge recaps the year with us |
| 18 December, 2008 : - - If somebody had said to me on January 1 this year that I would finish the year having jumped from No. 5 to No. 2 plus pick up a CT contest win along the way, I'd have gone: 'I'll take that'. That's how 2008 has ended for me and I'm stoked with how the year has gone.

Bede on defending titles in Hawaii, Pipe trophies & more |
| 13 November, 2008 : - - It was really cool to arrive home to Stradbroke Island in Australia and find my family and friends had organised a party for me after winning in Brazil. It was a great buzz and drove home the good feeling around securing my third WCT contest win and moving to No. 2 in the ratings behind Kelly ahead of Hawaii.

Bede blogs on his win at the Hang Loose Santa Catarina.. |
| 4 November, 2008 : - - Now that’s what I call a great week! I mentioned in my last blog that it was a real slog to get from Australia to Brazil in terms of jet lag and impact on the body clock. But winning is the perfect antidote. I’m so stoked to have taken out the Hang Loose Pro.
