2010 Easterns® Entry Count Down

All heats have now been posted to the 2010 Easterns Competition page, as well as the 2010 Easterns® Schedule posted The District Directors have completed their review and the contest has "Gone To Paper".

Electronic and Mail Entries will continue to be taken now that both entry deadlines have past. All late paid alternates will be slotted at the bottom of the alternate list after approved “Flag Sitter” & “Medical” entries.

Easterns® Registration Starts 7/1/10

An Announcement from our director, Debbie Hodges, regarding the Easterns:

"The ESA announces On-line Registration for The Easterns® through Active.com starting Thursday, July 1, 2010. This is an “Invitation Only” contest based on your ESA Regional Rankings. Slotted and Alternate rank competitors should sign up at this time. Deadline for entry is Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Please check the ESA Competition page for current information on this year’s Easterns®. Please register for the contest on-line here. Please make sure you print all your Active.com pages for your reference and confirmation.

Oil Spill Update: Run for The Gulf & Drilling Moratorium

From the latest Clean Water Network Update:

Run For The Gulf

Register today for the Run for the Gulf 5K which benefits the work of the Clean Water Network (CWN) and the Gulf Restoration Network. Funds raised from this event will support CWN's Gulf Assistance Fund, targeted for communities impacted by the Gulf oil spill disaster. Monies raised will also go towards CWN's regional partner, the Gulf Restoration Network, an organization working 24/7 on the ground dealing with this environmental catastrophe.
